Agentic Systems
Agentic Systems is an enduring strategic pillar of SAIF’s work. It focuses on turning research and modern AI capabilities into practical systems and prototypes that can support institutions and public-interest use while strengthening long-term technical capability in Syria.
Overview
This field of work explores agent-based workflows, application prototypes, and knowledge-connected systems suited to public-interest use cases in Syria. It is application-led, institution-aware, and designed to strengthen practical implementation capacity.
Directions for this pillar
- Public-service information assistants that improve access to guidance and essential information.
- Administrative guidance assistants that help users navigate procedures, requirements, and institutional pathways.
- Organizational knowledge assistants that support internal search, summarization, and structured knowledge access.
- Entrepreneurship support tools that help founders and small teams navigate planning, documentation, and decision support.
- Research and university support tools that assist with discovery, synthesis, and knowledge workflows.
Position in the broader roadmap
These directions are not presented as completed deployments. They are areas for structured prototyping, evaluation, and institutional learning that can support deeper research, stronger infrastructure maturity, and future model capability.
