Hassan Sawaf — Chair of the Advisory Council

Provides strategic, technical, and research guidance, and leads the Advisory Council in supporting the Foundation’s long-term direction.

Samer Hamwi — Founding Executive Director, Strategy and Execution

Leads institutional strategy, execution priorities, and the development of the Foundation’s early operating structure.

Mohamad Shararah — Training, Applications, and Technical Enablement Lead

Leads applied training programs, practical AI applications, and early technical capability-building.

Kamal Almounajjed — Partnerships and Public Engagement Lead

Supports institutional partnerships, external engagement, and public-facing collaboration.

Abdallah Najjar — Infrastructure and Systems Lead

Leads infrastructure, systems support, technical readiness, and execution support across early workstreams.

Roula Alajeh — Community, Training, and Social Engagement Lead

Leads community outreach, training engagement, and social participation pathways that connect the Foundation’s work to broader public benefit.

Radwan Iskandarani, CPA — Treasury, Finance, and Reporting Lead

Leads treasury oversight, financial stewardship, reporting discipline, and finance operations that support measured institutional growth.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is chaired by Dr. Hassan Sawaf, Founding Scientific Director and Chair of SAIF's Advisory Council. The Council brings specialist expertise to SAIF's research, projects, and responsible adoption work through a project-based advisory model.
